- Built from scratch: WordPress setup, theme installation and customization, category and archive structure, social media integration and launch.
Challenge
Astrology writing has a rhythm: monthly forecasts, yearly overviews and pieces about the current sky, published on schedule and read again months later. The author was sharing on social media, where posts disappear in the feed, and needed a home where the writing builds up into an archive readers can come back to.
Solution
A clean WordPress blog, set up from scratch, where the writing comes first.
- A calm, editorial theme with plenty of room for long posts and cover images
- Categories for monthly and yearly forecasts and tips, plus an archive by month and year
- Search
- Instagram and Facebook links, so social posts lead back to the full piece
Outcome
Since 2023 the blog has been updated on a steady schedule, without needing a developer for each post; every month's forecast joins an archive organized by year and month, and older pieces stay easy to find.
Readers arriving from social media land on a full article and can keep reading from there.
